About University Academy Long Sutton redevelopment

University Academy Long Sutton is run and managed by the University of Lincoln Academy Trust. The current Secondary school has 720 pupil places for ages 11 - 16 years with 78 staff members. The new school will be designed for a maximum of 750 pupil places.

This is a new build project. The existing school is to be demolished. The phasing plan for the construction has been produced to minimise the impact on the operation of the school, Peele Leisure Centre, and Rainbow Nursery. The only works associated with these organisations are the reconnection of electrical and gas supplies as necessary and suitable notice will be given with regard to any disruption to services. There is also a new temporary car park to be constructed close to the entrance of the Peele Leisure Centre which will accommodate the temporary relocation of school staff and visitor parking.
